Our office has a new property tax website. Click here to check it out.
You will need to use the Property Search bar to search for your property. You may search by name, address, account number, etc.
To pay your property taxes:
You may pay in person, by mail, drop box, or online. If you are paying online, please have your tax statement and credit card/check available. There will be a 2.4% convenience fee to use a debit/credit or a $1.00 convenience fee to utilize an electronic check.

For questions or concerns regarding address changes, property valuation, or exemptions please contact the Jackson Central Appraisal District.
The Jackson Central Appraisal District is responsible for local property appraisal and exemption administration in the county. Property appraisals are determined by the appraisal district and used by the taxing entities to calculate and allocate the annual taxes. JCAD also administers and determines eligibility for various types of property tax exemptions that are authorized by state and local governments, such as those for homeowners, the elderly, disabled persons, disabled veterans, and charitable or religion organizations. The Jackson Central Appraisal District employs the chief appraiser, assistant chief appraiser, administrative assistant, field appraisers, and deed clerks. JCAD appraisers are registered and licensed through the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation.
